Self-drive car rental for Alakahia
Venegow is preparing self-drive car rental coverage for Alakahia as part of the Port Harcourt launch scheduled for February 2027. Alakahia is a university-belt community close to Choba and the University of Port Harcourt area. Customers can register an advance requirement for February 2027 and later dates while the launch fleet and final Port Harcourt rates are being confirmed.
A useful Alakahia request includes the exact pickup address or map pin, rental dates, preferred vehicle class, intended travel area and a reachable phone or WhatsApp number. The area name alone is not treated as a complete collection address.
Current self-drive booking rules
The current Venegow self-drive framework uses a minimum rental period of 3 days and a refundable ₦100,000 caution deposit in addition to the rental fee. Renter approval, required documents, vehicle inspection and approved travel area remain part of the release process.
Port Harcourt launch pricing is confirmed separately. Published Abuja rates are not automatically treated as Port Harcourt prices.
Planning pickup and return in Alakahia
For a Alakahia pickup, provide the street, estate, hotel, office or other precise meeting point. If the rental includes Port Harcourt International Airport, Trans Amadi, GRA, another neighbourhood or interstate travel, include those movements in the request before confirmation.
Venegow confirms delivery or collection arrangements, exact vehicle availability and the approved return process before the rental is finalised.
Choose a vehicle by the trip
Sedans such as Toyota Corolla or Toyota Camry may suit ordinary city use, while Lexus RX350 or other suitable SUVs may be requested where passenger comfort, luggage or road conditions call for a larger vehicle. The exact Port Harcourt launch inventory is confirmed against the requested dates.
